Christie launches Korus Series, a line of compact 4K UHD+ laser projectors
Christie, distributed by Wavetrain Cinemas in Australia, has unveiled its Korus Series, a line of 1DLP laser projectors designed to deliver 4K UHD+ resolution in a compact, versatile package.
The series includes four models, two of which are TAA-compliant and offer brightness levels up to 14,250 lumens. Equipped with advanced 0.8” HED DMD technology, the projectors combine sharp 4K UHD+ image clarity with 1,500:1 native and 25,000:1 dynamic contrast, while maintaining high lumen-to-watt efficiency.

At just 17.2kg, the Korus Series is 30% lighter than comparable models, marking a new standard for portability in its class.
“The series stands out with 4K UHD+ resolution in a platform smaller and lighter than comparable WUXGA projectors in similar brightness and class. We are excited to offer the ProAV industry a feature-packed and competitively priced 4K 1DLP laser projector series,” Christie director of product management Joel St-Denis says.
The Korus Series is designed for flexible installation, featuring omnidirectional operation and eight interchangeable lenses, including a Z-shaped ultra-short-throw lens, allowing for easier setup in space-constrained or complex environments. Extensive connectivity ensures seamless integration across professional installations.
Additional features include support for active and passive 3D projection, built-in twist for warping and blending, optional mystique for camera-based alignment and compatibility with Christie intelligent camera, simplifying setup for advanced display projects.
