Chowmainsoft has released the Philips Hue driver for Control4, enabling seamless integration of the Philips Hue ecosystem into Control4 automation projects.

The driver brings native support for a wide range of Philips Hue devices, including lighting, motion sensors, window and door contact sensors, keypads, Friends of Hue switches and dial switches.

Deep lighting integration supports Philips Hue zones, groups and scenes, allowing Hue lighting to function within Control4. This enables consistent control, automation and scene recall across individual lights, grouped lighting areas and whole room or whole home lighting scenes.

The driver is compatible with all current Philips Hue bridge hardware, including Pro and V2 bridges, ensuring broad compatibility across both existing and new installations.

Native support extends to Philips Hue motion sensors, window and door contact sensors, keypads, friends of Hue switches and dial switches, addressing a long-standing gap in Control4 projects for flexible wireless battery and kinetic input devices. Dial switch support enables intuitive volume ramping and level dimming through turn left and turn right actions, delivering a responsive and natural user experience.
