Chowmainsoft has released a driver for Control4, enabling integration with Hegel Music Systems’ H150, H400 and H600 integrated amplifiers.

The driver allows Control4 users and integrators to incorporate Hegel’s integrated amplifier range into broader smart home and automation ecosystems, combining high-performance audio with streamlined system control.

The H150, known as ‘The Prodigy’, serves as Hegel’s entry point into high-performance streaming amplification. It combines powerful amplification, extensive connectivity and integrated streaming into a single all-in-one music solution designed to suit a wide range of spaces and loudspeaker configurations.

The H400 builds on this foundation by introducing many of Hegel’s flagship technologies in a more accessible package. Delivering 250W per channel into 8Ω with stability down to 2Ω loads, the amplifier features dual mono architecture, a damping factor of 4,000 and Hegel’s SoundEngine 2 distortion correction technology for improved speaker control, dynamic performance and detail retrieval.

At the top of the range, the H600 is positioned as Hegel’s reference integrated amplifier. Producing 303W per channel into 8Ω with full 2Ω drive capability, the H600 combines dual mono construction, a reference-grade preamplifier stage, precision volume control and fully in-house designed electronics to deliver high levels of realism, dynamic range and soundstage performance.
