Bose Professional has announced the Bose ES1 ceiling audio solution designed for conferencing for unified communications platforms like Microsoft Teams. It ensures a transparent technology experience as no devices are in the walls or on a tabletop.

Additionally, Bose Professional and Sennheiser have teamed up to provide an unparalleled unified communications solution.

Consisting of three Bose products, the ControlSpace EX-440C conferencing signal processor, the EdgeMax EM180 in-ceiling loudspeaker and the PowerSpace P2600A amplifier as well as the Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC2) microphone, the solution creates a reliable, modern-looking meeting room of nearly any size.

This solution lets users seamlessly connect and work together without having to focus on technology or being concerned if the equipment is working.

“We’re thrilled to bring together three amazing brands — Bose, Sennheiser and Microsoft — to deliver a Microsoft Teams Rooms audio solution that’s transparent within the space,” Bose Professional director of emerging business Martin Bodley says.

“Our EdgeMax in-ceiling speaker is truly unique, making use of the Bose PhaseGuide technology to deliver pure and natural audio uniformly across a room. And, when combined with the Sennheiser TCC2 ceiling microphone, the Bose ControlSpace EX Dante-enabled DSP and PowerSpace P2600A amplifier, the results are a world-class solution that is easy to install and support.”

Microsoft Corporation partner director, Microsoft Teams Devices Ilya Bukshteyn adds: “With devices Certified for Microsoft Teams, our goal is to provide our customers with solutions that deliver the best possible experience for Teams meetings and calls.

“We are pleased to now be working with Bose on a high-performing ceiling audio solution for Microsoft Teams Rooms. With the addition of this new solution to our full catalogue of Certified systems for Teams, we continue to deliver on our goal of great Teams devices for every space from the phone room to the boardroom and everywhere in between.”
