Recommended applications for both the 10-port and 26-port switches include large divisible rooms, multipurpose spaces, large houses of worship, lecture halls, courtrooms and auditoriums. They both are ideal for seamless integration with our Cambridge Qt X sound masking solutions.
The key features of the NMS-NG26GPX-AVB include being preloaded with the necessary AVB license enabling it to pass AVB audio and video streams. Also preloaded with a Biamp configuration, the switch has the seamless immediate deployment of AVB and Dante systems.
Also included is a high-capacity PoE with 24 ports providing 480W of PoE+ for AV endpoints, and its complete system is designed to support Biamp deployments with Tesira, TesiraLUX video, NPX paging stations, Parlé microphones, Impera controller and Apprimo touch interfaces and the Cambridge Qt X sound masking solutions.
In addition, advanced options with an AV-centric web UI ensure the NMS-NG26GPX-AVB provides optional advanced configurations for DHCP, multiple AV protocol and systems incorporating third-party AV devices, and all with an aesthetic functional design, with a clean sleek display panel at the front, displays port status and the rear accommodating all cabling and provides additional status indicators.
Reversed mounting enables the ports to be positioned at the front of the rack including rack ears to allow recessed mounting. 1G uplinks have been included for ideal for audio, standalone video and control setups while 10G SFP+ uplinks are ideal for larger multi-switch video deployments.
Lastly, the switch’s quiet operation of intelligent software controls fans under suitable ambient conditions and PoE loads for whisper quiet operation.
With Biamp Warranty, Biamp provides a standard five-year warranty and tech support on top of NETGEAR’s limited lifetime warranty, tech support and Pro AV design services.
