AVPro Edge launches two new products
AV manufacturer and distributor AVPro Edge has just launched two new products; an eight channel decoder and an 18Gbps distribution amplifier.
The AC-AVDM-AUHD is capable of decoding audio signals like DTS-HD and Dolby Audio (Dolby 7.1 and Dolby Atmos).
This eight-channel decoder aims to solve audio distribution issues in high bandwidth AV installations of up to 18Gbps. It also supports video through HDMI while allowing the associated audio signal to be simultaneously extracted and split into both digital and analogue audio outputs.

The AC-AVDM-AUHD can downmix standard Dolby Audio and DTS-HD formats up to 7.1 then output the audio as stereo (LPCM 2.0) over HDMI, S/PDIF (optical and coaxial), as well as analogue RCA connections.
It can also support the pass-through of HD and standard bitstream formats as well as LPCM 7.1 with audio sampling rates up to 192kHz if needed.
Further, it features EDID management, HDCP 2.2 support, 4K UHD resolution up to 4K@60Hz (YUV 4:4:4, 8-bit) on the HDMI input and output, full 12-bit HDR and audio return channel (ARC).
AVPro Edge has also launched the latest addition to AVPro Edge’s 18Gbps distribution amplifier family. The AC-DA28-AUHD offers a full 18Gbps 4K60 (4:4:4) dual input, eight output distribution amplifier with two output zones.
Separate output zones allow the user to switch between two 4K UHD sources on up to four displays per zone. The AC-DA28-AUHD provides a low-cost solution for a divisible room installation with two rooms involved or a commercial AV installation.
AVPro Edge is distributed in Australia by AV Distributors.
