AVIXA has announced the results for the 2021 AVIXA Board of Directors and Leadership Search Committee (LSC).

ICAP Global chief executive Martin Saul has been elected secretary-treasurer of the board by AVIXA membership. Additionally, QSC chief operating and technology officer, executive vice president Jatan Shah and AVI Systems chief technology officer Brad Sousa are elected to the board.

The LSC has appointed LANG AG chief executive Tobias Lang and GoDaddy director of venture forward Alexandra Rosen as well as reappointing Digital senior vice president and general manager Cathryn Lai.

“AVIXA’s Board of Directors bring their diverse talent and perspectives from around the world to shape the vision of the association and pro AV industry at large,” AVIXA chief executive offier David Labuskes says.

“I’m excited to welcome our new Board members who will enrich the conversations, strategies, and pathway forward.”

AVIXA membership also elected Shure’s Althea Ricketts to the board and current chair of the board Jeff Day has added ENCORE Event Technologies Flor Lopez and Promotion Technology Group’s Bill Fons to the LSC.

“AVIXA established the Leadership Search Committee in 2008 to identify volunteers to serve on the association’s committees and make their way onto future Board election ballots,” Dave adds.
