Aurora, distributed by APTECH in Australia, has expanded its AV control portfolio with the launch of the RXT-11R-G3+, a rack-mount touch panel that combines system control, audio and video monitoring, media playback, recording and scalable DSP functionality in a single 1RU chassis.

Designed to reduce rack space and simplify system design, the all-in-one platform integrates multiple functions traditionally delivered by separate devices, helping streamline installation and minimise hardware requirements in modern AV environments.

The RXT-11R-G3+ features a 1920 x 440 widescreen touch display with integrated stereo speakers, allowing users to monitor audio directly at the rack via analogue line input or Dante/AES67 network audio.

For system control and integration, it includes dual 1GbE LAN ports, two serial ports, two IR ports, two relays and two digital I/O interfaces, providing extensive connectivity for professional AV installations.

Beyond traditional touch panel functionality, the unit can receive and output HDMI signals for local content monitoring, signal routing and recording workflows. It can also operate as a standalone media player, delivering video and audio over HDMI or streaming audio across a Dante network.

An optional licence unlocks integrated Dante/AES67 DSP processing, with configurable 4×4, 8×8 or 16×16 processing capabilities. An onboard expansion port further supports up to 16×16 balanced analogue inputs and outputs, providing additional flexibility for applications requiring centralised audio processing and monitoring.

By consolidating multiple system components into a single platform, the RXT-11R-G3+ can replace a dedicated recording device, control processor, touch panel, audio DSP, confidence monitor, video monitor and standalone media player, reducing rack space while simplifying deployment and ongoing system management.
