AudioControl, which is distributed by Synergy Custom, has announced it will be expanding its amplifier offerings with the introduction of the new CM line of 70V amplifiers at CEDIA 2018 at booth 2937. The company will also introduce a number of other new products at the event.

AudioControl’s 70V amplifier solutions, which are made in the US, deliver 750W per channel all-channels driven, enabling integrators to deliver content through a large number of speakers connected to each output. This flexibility addresses nearly any system configuration but is particularly useful for integrators assembly a premium outdoor audio system as well as a large variety of residential and commercial AV applications.

The new CM series of 70V amplifiers also offer DSP control and signal matrixing capabilities that enable integrators to precisely tailor the sound by zone to any environment. Additionally, CM Series amplifiers support dual mode functionality that allows simultaneous 70V and 8W operation on selected channels, as well as digital and analogue audio inputs.

Also at CEDIA 2018, AudioControl will introduce the latest addition to its line of theatre amplifiers, the Avalon G3 versatile, high-performance, four/three/two channel amplifier. It’s capable of driving the height channels as part of an immersive surround system (four-channel – 250W at 8W, 300W at 4W) or a 2.1 audio system (stereo pair plus bridged pair), as well as a dedicated two-channel music system delivering 600W into 8W loudspeakers.

Each pair of channels features hi/lo/bypass crossover controls, balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, and RCA throughputs to achieve multiple configuration options.

Avalon G3 also features independent, channel-level controls, premium five-way binding posts and switchable 110/220V operation.

Additionally, AudioControl will be showcasing its new Rialto 400 with smart-switching auxiliary input capable of overriding both digital and analogue inputs when it senses signal. This allows the user to query using voice commands on Amazon Echo or Google Voice and rely on the Rialto 400 to pause either input, provide the response from either automated device and immediately switch back to whichever input was active.

The below manufacturers will be featuring AudioControl in their 2018 CEDIA booth displays and/or demos:

  • Dynaudio
  • Graysound
  • James Loudspeaker
  • Origin Acoustics
  • RAYVA
  • Savant
