AudioControl has introduced the EPICSIX, a six-channel 1,200W RMS amplifier, a compact Class D amplifier engineered to deliver high output, flexible system design and reliable performance across a wide range of mobile audio installations.

Designed for versatility, the EPICSIX supports multiple system configurations, including active three-way front stage, five-channel, active six-channel and bridged setups. Its compact footprint and high-current design provide installers with the flexibility to build, tune and expand audio systems without compromising on power.

The amplifier delivers 6 x 100W into 4Ω or 6 x 200W into 2Ω, with channels 3/4 and 5/6 capable of bridging to produce 2 x 400W into 4Ω. Stable down to 2Ω, the EPICSIX also incorporates AudioControl’s Smart Auto-Reset Protection Circuit to maintain reliable operation under demanding conditions.

To support accurate system tuning, the amplifier features 12dB/octave Linkwitz-Riley variable high-pass filters across all six channels, along with variable low-pass filters on channels three to six.

The flexible crossover configuration enables precise frequency management for both active and passive speaker systems while helping improve clarity and protect connected speakers.

The EPICSIX is completed with heavy-duty power and speaker terminals featuring hex screw connections for secure, dependable installation.
