AudioControl, distributed by Synergy Audio in Australia, has introduced three highly-versatile CM Series 70V amplifiers featuring Dante digital audio networking capability.

Dante in an uncompressed, multi-channel digital media networking technology that moves data over a standard IP network using readily-available CAT5e, CAT6 or fibre optic cables with near-zero latency.

These amps can be accessed anywhere on the network with up to eight streams of digital content able to be routed to any Dante-enabled device. Thanks to the Dante master clock, all connected devices remain in precise synchronisation for a seamless audio experience.

The latest additions to the CM series are available in three versions: four-channel, three-channel and two-channel models, each delivering 750W per channel in 70/100V mode, 50W per channel at 8Ω and 750 watts per channel at 2 or 4Ω and 1500W bridged into either a 70/100V and 8 or 4Ω load.

Each amp offers eight analogue inputs: four stereo and four digital stereo – digital coax and optical. The four outputs available can be individually controlled or be controlled as two stereo pairs, giving integrators the system configuration flexibility they need to accommodate any system architecture.

CM series amps are unique in the realm of 70V options because they offer the DSP control and signal matrixing capabilities developed by AudioControl for their award-winning Director Series amplifiers.

This, alongside other features, make it ideal for a range of environments including houses of worship, boardrooms, hospitality, collaboration suites, residential projects and more. For maximum efficiency and compatibility, system setup and diagnostics can be managed remotely through an IP web-based browser or app for PC, Mac, iOS and Android, facilitating control of CM Series amplifiers via IP and/or RS232.

The Dante-enabled CM series of amplifiers will be available in the second quarter of 2020 and will come with an AudioControl standard five-year warranty.
