Audio Brands Australia, an importer and distributor of commercial and professional audio solutions, was at Integrate 2022 and it was hard to walk past one of the biggest speakers in the entire building.

The Electro-Voice MTS Series point-source loudspeaker was hard to walk past. Not only is it nearly as tall as a human, but it also boasts an impressive 151dB in its large frame.

“It’s a fairly new product, a very high SPL long-throw stadium speaker,” Audio Brands Australia director Don McConnell says.

“It’s one of those things where it’s a big box, but it replaces what would normally be a distributed system in a stadium where you’d have lots of speakers hangs. It’s crazy, you only need one of these for an entire stadium.”

Dan says that Integrate 2022 was the first time the MTS Series was on display in Australia and while it hasn’t been installed in any Australian stadium yet, it just started shipping in Europe and the US.

Outside of the impressive stadium speaker, the stall was showing some of the other Electro-Voice solutions for commercial audio, more suited for pubs and clubs. This range included pendant speakers, ceiling speakers, roll speakers and so on.

“Now Electro-Voice is part of the Bosch family who also owns Dynacord, the amplifier to normally use to power these,” Don says.

The stall was also showcasing the rest of the Audio Brands Australia range including FBT, MIPRO, NETGEAR’s Pro AV line of switchers and more.
