This 1RU rack-mounted NetLinx PDU adds innovative power control by monitoring energy consumption of each connected component and restricts power to any or all devices when not in use.

With eight individually monitored and controlled AC outlets, built-in 12-volt power supply, two sets of four AxLink Bus Strips and power monitoring for each outlet, the NetLinx PDU is the ideal way to decrease wasteful standby power expenditures while preventing possible damage to components from overheating.

The ideal of control at the rack level is an innovative approach to power management. With the NetLinx PDU users not only gain the benefit of reducing carbon-footprint but operational advantages including the capability of individually controlling devices down to the plug level for remote rebooting eliminating the need for an on-site service visit for dealers. The NetLinx PDU also features a sensor which can monitor temperature in the rack to prevent potential overheating situations.
