Auralex eco-friendly ELiTE ProPanel
A new method of manufacturing eliminates the use of formaldehyde and phenol from the fabrication process. This breakthrough will help Auralex redefine the industry standard for fabric wrapped acoustical panels.
The new ELiTE ProPanels emit a lower amount of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s). Lower emissions promote better air quality which has been cited by the EPA as a way to improve health and productivity in schools, homes and commercial buildings.
The new ELiTE ProPanels maintain their acoustical properties and Class A fire rating. They are manufactured using 35% ‘post-consumer’ recycled material, and their absorptive qualities help reduce building energy demand.

Low emission ELiTE ProPanels now comply with all LEED Certifications and can now be specified in LEED building projects, whether new construction or retrofit. The LEED green building program is a voluntary, consensus-based national rating system for buildings designed, constructed and operated for improved environmental performance.
“The introduction of Auralex’s new low emission ELiTE ProPanel is the next step in our ongoing initiative to become a more earth-conscious company by refining our products and practices,” says Auralex Acoustics director of sales Karen Richardson.
“Alongside our eco-friendly approach in manufacturing, Auralex is proud to do its part in conserving our resources by printing collateral materials on recycled paper and by using recycled materials for the shipment of our products.”
