Advance Paris, distributed by Synergy Audio Visual in Australia, has launched its APEX series to mark its 30th anniversary, unveiling a range of high-performance integrated amplifiers and a matching CD player that combine neo-retro styling with audiophile-grade engineering.

At the heart of the range are three hybrid integrated amplifiers: The A8 APEX, A10 APEX and A12 APEX. Each model uses a tube-based preamplifier stage combined with a Class A/B power amplifier section, delivering the musicality the brand is known for alongside modern connectivity and usability.

The A8 APEX brings the hybrid design of Advance Paris’ flagship amplifiers into a more compact format. It delivers 76W per channel into 8Ω and features a preamplifier stage built around two ECC81/12AT7 tubes. A High-Bias function allows the amplifier to operate with a double Class A bias at higher power levels, while optional Bluetooth aptX Adaptive Low Latency support enables wireless streaming from smart devices.

The A10 APEX increases output to 130W per channel into 8Ω and adds greater flexibility, including dual speaker outputs for Zone A and Zone B operation. Like the A8, it features a tube-based preamplifier, High-Bias Class A operation and optional Bluetooth aptX Adaptive connectivity, with the added ability to transmit audio to Bluetooth headphones.

The flagship A12 APEX delivers 190W per channel into 8Ω and is designed to drive even the most demanding loudspeakers. It features dual power transformers for increased current delivery, while retaining the same hybrid architecture, High-Bias operation and dual-zone speaker outputs found across the range.

Completing the series is the ACD APEX CD player, designed as a dedicated partner for the APEX amplifiers. The player incorporates tube-based analogue output stages using Raytheon 5744 micro-tubes, originally developed for military applications, to deliver warmth and musicality. It offers both analogue and digital connectivity, including RCA and XLR outputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs and a front-panel USB audio connection.

All models in the range are offered in a special limited-edition 30th anniversary edition black finish to commemorate the milestone.
