RTI has launched its ICP-2, ICP-4 and ICP-10 Intelligent Control Processors, alongside Integration Designer 12 (ID12), introducing faster processing performance and more than 200 new features and enhancements to its control and automation platform.

The processors are designed for small, medium and large-scale control systems, with next-generation architecture intended to support complex control functions and expanded capabilities. RTI says the new processors offer faster performance than its previous XP series and feature an updated driver engine for customised third-party device control.

The ICP-2 is designed for smaller installations and includes a built-in two-port Ethernet switch, WiFi, infrared (IR), relay, sense and RS232 connections. Its Ethernet switch allows a single cable to provide power and control while forwarding data to a local device.

The ICP-4 targets medium-scale systems, with Ethernet switching or separate network interface capabilities, IR, relay outputs, sense inputs, RS232, RS485 and USB connections. Its dual Ethernet ports can be configured for use as a network switch or to connect two separate networks.

The ICP-10 is designed for larger installations and includes similar connectivity to the ICP-4, with dual Ethernet ports supporting network switching or separate network configurations while providing control and power.

Alongside the hardware, Integration Designer 12 introduces more than 200 new features and enhancements intended to streamline programming, expand automation capabilities and provide greater customisation flexibility for individual installations.
