QSC has expanded its Microsoft Teams certification for its Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular System, NC-90-G2 network camera and Windows-based Q-SYS RoomSuite Collaboration Bar.

The certifications expand Q-SYS’s range of solutions for Microsoft Teams Rooms, covering medium and large meeting spaces as well as smaller collaboration areas. The systems can be monitored and managed through Q-SYS Reflect.

The Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular System certification covers the system alongside Q-SYS NL Series loudspeakers, the NM-T1 tabletop microphone or compatible Microsoft Teams-certified partner Dante ceiling microphones, and the NC-12×80, NC-20×60 and NC-90-G2 cameras. When deployed with the NC-90-G2, the system also supports Active Speaker Framing in Teams Rooms.

The Windows-based Q-SYS RoomSuite Collaboration Bar combines four 50mp cameras, a 16-element microphone array and integrated loudspeakers in an all-in-one device designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms. It includes a dedicated 10.9” touch screen for meeting and device control.

The Collaboration Bar also supports up to four Q-SYS RoomSuite Table Microphone accessories, extending audio coverage in larger or flexible meeting spaces. Each microphone allows participants to mute calls using a single button.

“Organisations increasingly value the flexibility to deploy the right collaboration solution for every space, whether that’s a core-based room system, a modular system or an all-in-one Windows-based bar,” QSC vice-president of marketing Patrick Heyn says.

With an expanded Q-SYS portfolio of Certified for Microsoft Teams solutions, customers can confidently choose the deployment model that best fits their needs while delivering a consistent Teams Rooms experience across the workplace.”

Microsoft general manager of Microsoft Teams Partner Engineering Albert Kooiman says the expanded range would give organisations more options when deploying Teams Rooms across different meeting spaces.

“Adding the Microsoft Teams Rooms hardware as an integrated part of the extensive Q-SYS portfolio simplifies choice for customers, enabling organisations to deliver the right experience across a wide range of meeting spaces,” he says.

“Whether installing the Q-SYS RoomSuite Collaboration Bar, or the Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular System, both unite together the power of Teams Rooms on Windows with Q-SYS innovation and deployment simplicity to support the evolving needs of today’s workplace.”
