Epson adds two 4K laser projectors to Australian EH-LS range
Epson has launched the EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500, expanding its premium EH-LS home theatre projector range in Australia.
Both models combine Epson’s 3LCD three-chip engine with 4K Enhancement Technology to produce 8.3 million pixels. They also use a solid-state laser light source rated for up to 20,000 hours of operation.

The projectors feature AI-powered image processing, including AI Super Resolution for detail enhancement and an AI Perceptual Quantiser for brightness and contrast adjustment. Other image processing features include HDR10, ten-bit colour, scene-adaptive gamma correction, de-contour processing and 4K frame interpolation.
The EH-LS6000 is designed for large-format home theatre applications, producing images of up to 500”. It delivers up to 3,400 lumens of colour and white brightness and has a contrast ratio exceeding 3,000,000:1.
The projector uses Epson’s 3LCD architecture and continuously displays 100% of the RGB colour signal. It has a sealed optical unit, a quiet mode rated at 22dB and lens shift of up to 21% horizontally and 59% vertically.
Ten lens-memory presets are available for different aspect ratios, while compatibility with Epson’s existing EH-TW7100 ceiling mount can simplify installation for customers upgrading from that model.
The EH-LS7500 is designed for installations where a shorter throw distance is required. It can produce images from 40” up to 300” and is suited to smaller rooms, garages and golf simulator installations.
The EH-LS7500 provides up to 3,500 lumens of colour and white brightness and a contrast ratio exceeding 5,000,000:1. Its AIPQ Scene 2.0+ processing combines AI Super Resolution with an AI Perceptual Quantiser.
For gaming, the EH-LS7500 supports refresh rates between 400Hz and 480Hz, auto low latency mode and game ,ode, with input latency below 20ms.
Both models support eARC for high-quality audio over HDMI, while Bluetooth 6.0 provides connectivity for compatible headphones and soundbars.
The EH-LS7500 includes front-access lens-shift controls, allowing adjustments without moving the projector. The controls are concealed when the projector is ceiling-mounted, while a front exhaust allows the unit to be positioned on a rear shelf.
Both models support point correction and quick corner adjustment and are compatible with the existing EH-TW7100 ceiling mount.
The laser optical engines eliminate the need for lamp replacement and don’t require the warm-up period associated with lamp-based projectors. Epson says that the projectors reach maximum brightness in approximately eight seconds, while brightness is continuously monitored to maintain performance.
The EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500 join the existing EH-LS Series to provide Epson with projector options across different home theatre and installation environments.
