KEF, distributed by Audio Connection in Australia, has launched its Outdoor Collection, bringing its Uni-Q technology and high-fidelity audio into outdoor residential, hospitality and commercial spaces.

The range includes landscape satellite speakers, bollard speakers, bollard subwoofers, three-way bollard speakers and surface-mount speakers, giving integrators flexible options for everything from compact courtyards to large multi-zone outdoor environments.

The collection includes the SR4Q and SR6Q landscape satellites, BH6Q and BH8Q bollard speakers, BL8b and BL12b bollard subwoofers and BQ9 and BQ11 three-way bollard speakers. The Ventura 5 and Ventura 6 surface-mount speakers complete the range.

For the first time, KEF’s Uni-Q driver array has been adapted specifically for outdoor use. The technology places the tweeter within the midrange and bass driver to create a single point source, providing wide and consistent sound dispersion across outdoor spaces.

Durability is a key focus, with the speakers featuring weatherproof construction, UV resistance and salt-spray testing exceeding 500 hours. The landscape and bollard speakers are IP66 rated, while the subwoofers and three-way bollard speakers carry IPX5 ratings. The collection is designed to operate between -25°C and +70°C.

A range of mounting options allows integrators to tailor installations to individual environments, including ground stakes, hardscape mounts, pendant mounts and beneath-deck installations. Selected subwoofers and bollard speakers can also be partially buried for a more discreet appearance.

KEF is also offering three curated outdoor system packages, combining speakers, subwoofers and KASA network DSP amplifiers.

The KASA amplifiers feature GaN-enhanced Class-D amplification, built-in KEF speaker profiles, multi-source and multi-zone control, browser-based configuration and IP control compatibility with platforms including Control4, Crestron and Savant. Four models are available, ranging from two-channel 250W to eight-channel 250W configurations.
