Hisense Australia has expanded into the personal audio category with the launch of HiClips open-ear wireless earbuds, designed to deliver premium sound while allowing users to remain aware of their surroundings.

The open-ear earbuds are designed for users who want to listen to music, podcasts and take calls without blocking out the sounds around them, making them suitable for commuting, exercising, working remotely and outdoor activities.

“We’re incredibly excited to introduce HiClips and bring the Hisense entertainment experience into an entirely new category,” Hisense ANZ managing director Kevin Ke says.

“At Hisense, we believe great technology should enhance everyday life, not disconnect us from it. HiClips has been purpose-built around that philosophy, combining premium sound with an open-ear design that allows Australians to stay connected to both their content and the world around them.”

Weighing just 5.5 grams per earbud, HiClips features a flexible titanium-nickel C-bridge frame wrapped in soft-touch silicone, designed to provide a secure and comfortable fit throughout the day.

The earbuds combine acoustically tuned hardware with multiple listening modes to deliver balanced audio performance, while a patented open-ear design and anti-leak technology help users remain aware of conversations, traffic and other environmental sounds.

For calls, HiClips incorporates a dual-microphone system with smart noise reduction to improve voice clarity, while dual-device connectivity allows users to switch seamlessly between smartphones, tablets and laptops.

Additional features include intelligent wear detection, which automatically identifies which ear each earbud is being worn on, and integration with the ConnectLife app, where users can customise touch controls, assign shortcut functions and locate misplaced earbuds using a built-in tracking feature.

Fast-charging support provides several hours of playback from just a short charging session, helping users stay connected throughout the day. HiClips is offered in Vitality Orange, Cloud White, Graphite Blue and Midnight Black.
