Visionary launches nexAV We-Cosystem for converged AV and IT environments

Visionary, distributed by Corsair Solutions in Australia, has launched its nexAV We-Cosystem, a unified software platform combining AV-over-IP routing and switching, audio DSP processing, room and enterprise control, device discovery, workflow orchestration and user interface development for converged AV and IT environments.

The platform is designed for applications ranging from hospitality and conferencing to enterprise-wide AV deployments, enabling system design around operational requirements rather than vendor-specific constraints.

At the centre of nexAV is Visionary’s Flex Architecture DSP framework and integrated Audio Engine, which uses template-based DSP workflows to simplify deployment while supporting customisation for different applications. Native support for Dante and AES67 enables integration into networked audio environments from single rooms through to campus-wide systems.

The control layer is built on Node-RED, an open-source automation framework, allowing integration across AV systems, cloud platforms, building systems and enterprise technologies within a single environment.

“At some point, parts of the AV industry began confusing complexity with capability. Our philosophy has always been that technology should reduce friction and make systems easier to deploy, manage, and operate,” Visionary chief operating officer Scott Freshman says.

“That mindset helped define our AV-over-IP endpoints, and it’s foundational to the nexAV We-Cosystem.”

The platform is designed to support mixed technology environments while providing centralised management and a consistent user experience across deployments, with increasing use of AI-assisted tools helping streamline workflow development and system integration.
