Vanco, distributed by Advance Audio Australia, has launched a range of Dante audio adapters, enabling legacy audio equipment and common audio sources to integrate seamlessly with Dante-enabled systems.

Designed to simplify Audio-over-IP deployments, the adapters provide a cost-effective way for integrators to add Dante connectivity without replacing existing equipment.

The lineup includes eight adapter models supporting a range of signal formats, including analogue input and output, XLR, Bluetooth input, ARC input and output and 2×2 USB-C input and output. Each adapter supports a single signal format, providing a native connection for the source device while enabling full Dante routing and distribution across the network.

The adapters are designed to expand system design flexibility by allowing non-Dante devices to operate within Dante-based workflows. They also support staged system upgrades, enabling organisations to transition to Audio-over-IP without undertaking a complete system replacement.

Suitable for both new installations and retrofit projects, the adapters are aimed at applications including office buildings, hospitality venues, campuses, event spaces and houses of worship, where Dante-based audio networking continues to gain momentum.

“Vanco developed these adapters because of the ever-increasing demand for Dante-enabled devices in real projects, and customers want a straightforward way to tie legacy components into new components together,” Advance Audio Australia group product manager Tony Ingrisano says.

“It’s a small add-on that expands possibilities and is a big path forward for integrators.”
