Philips Professional Display Solutions (PPDS) has partnered with BrightSign to launch the Philips Signage 6060, a digital signage display with BrightSign built-in, combining Philips Professional Displays with the BrightSignOS platform.

The Philips Signage 6060 is available in 43”, 55” and 65” models, featuring a 500-nit UHD 4K display and a slimline chassis measuring less than 40mm deep for cleaner installations in retail, corporate, hospitality, transport and public environments.

Unveiled at InfoComm 2026, the range offers businesses an alternative to Android-based signage, delivering enhanced security, energy efficiency and performance for a wide range of commercial applications.

By integrating BrightSign’s XS156 system-on-chip, the displays eliminate the need for an external media player while providing advanced processing, simplified installation and improved security.

Powered by BrightSignOS, the displays provide access to the full BrightSign ecosystem, including content management platforms and BrightSign Control for remote monitoring, device management and software updates. The platform also enables energy-saving features such as automated brightness adjustment and scheduled power management to reduce operating costs.

The integrated XS156 processor includes a neural processing unit, allowing AI applications to run directly on the display without affecting overall system performance. This provides users with an AI-ready platform capable of supporting future digital signage applications.

“With BrightSign Built-In, we have extended our reach beyond Android and opened our solutions to an even wider audience,” PPDS North America director of PD sales Jack Boyczuk says.

“Together, we can provide the visual needs, capabilities and security required for today and tomorrow, allowing customers to run their business successfully, safely and sustainably.”

PPDS says the collaboration was driven by customer demand for Philips Professional Displays combined with BrightSign’s software ecosystem.

“The Philips Signage 6060 is a further demonstration of our commitment to support our partners and customers at every turn and for every need, no matter how complex or unique they might be,” PPDS senior director for North America Bruce Wyrwitzke says.

“We’re delighted to have partnered with BrightSign to deliver this incredible new addition to our Philips Signage range.”
