Chowmainsoft has released a major update to its Shelly Suite for Control4, adding support for Shelly BLU devices and expanding wireless automation options for Control4 integrators.

The update allows Shelly BLU devices to be integrated into Control4 by binding them to supported Shelly Gen3 and Pro Gen2 devices acting as Bluetooth gateways, or via the Shelly USB BLU Gen3 Gateway.

The move brings a range of battery-powered Bluetooth devices into the Control4 ecosystem, enabling integrators to deploy wireless sensors, buttons and remotes as part of Shelly-based automation systems.

Tested devices currently supported include the Shelly BLU Button Tough 1, Shelly BLU Button1, Shelly BLU Distance, Shelly BLU Door/Window, Shelly BLU H&T, Shelly BLU Motion, Shelly BLU RC Button 4 and the Shelly BLU Gateway Gen3.

Among the newly supported products are the Shelly BLU RC Button 4 ZB, a four-button remote with both Zigbee and Bluetooth connectivity and the Shelly BLU Motion, a battery-powered motion sensor designed for responsive alerts and extended operating life.

The Shelly Suite for Control4 supports WiFi and Ethernet-based Shelly devices with local two-way control and feedback over the LAN, while the latest update adds support for BTHome-based Shelly BLU devices through compatible gateway hardware.

The suite now supports Shelly Gen1, Gen2, Gen3, Plus, Pro and BLU devices, giving Control4 integrators a broader range of retrofit-friendly automation hardware to deploy across residential and light commercial projects.
