Chowmainsoft has released the Sky Glass driver for Control4.

It’s Sky’s all-in-one 4K streaming TV with a built-in Dolby Atmos soundbar and voice control with no requirement for a satellite dish.

The Gen 2 model adds a brighter QLED screen for better contrast with upgraded speakers. It’s a clean and minimalistic setup with cloud based recording and popular streaming applications built-in.

Chowmainsoft developed a robust infrared (IR) driver for Control4 after initial efforts to integrate Sky Glass via IP was unsuccessful due to a lack of IP control. The driver supports power, standard navigation, volume, mute as well as with mapping of YouTube and Netflix buttons.

The Sky Glass support is included as a free update for those who have previously purchased the Sky+ HD/Sky Q driver.
