Ruark Audio has announced a new special edition update of its R5 speaker, the Signature Edition, which will be available from June.

The R5 Signature Edition improves on the R5 standard, with a performance boost thanks to the enhancement of Ruark’s proprietary algorithm and digital filtering to achieve the STEREO+ feature.

Internally, the R5 Signature Edition uses the same high fidelity Class A-B amplifier system and Ruark’s own neodymium NS+ drivers, but with revised routing of key signal paths and the use of high purity oxygen-free speaker cables for extra sound clarity.

Other features include: comprehensive WiFi streaming, multi-format CD player, AptX HD Bluetooth receiver, DAB/FM and internet radio tuners, USB playback/charge port, auxiliary digital and analogue inputs including RIAA turntable input, high contrast OLED display and Ethernet port.
