Chowmain Software & Apps has released a Teleco Automation driver for Control4, giving the system its system, lighting and load controls both indoors and outdoors via radio or smartphone/tablets.

Integrating to Control4 is made possible through the TVTRX232-916 RS232 and allows for the following functionality:

• Bi-directional RS232 based communications
• Built in transmitter IDs supported out of box
• Ability to add additional transmitters and learn Teleco remote control codes
• Proxys for:
  • Blinds
  • Light dimmers
  • Light switches
  • Fans
  • Multi-level heater (experience button)
  • ON/OFF device (experience button & relay binding)

Teleco can be utilised for the following applications:

• Opening and closing Louvre roofs
• Retractable and tilting Louvre roofs
• Louvre panels
• Light switches
• Light dimmers
• Multispeed fans
• Awnings
• Roller shutters
• Gates
• Radiant heaters and more
