Following an impressive suite of products released in 2019, Savant, distributed by Avation in Australia, focused on innovation in new categories including lighting, energy automation and wireless high resolution digital audio, plus enhanced partnerships across the entire Smart Home marketplace.

New additions to Savant’s Partners in Excellence Program include an enhanced relationship with NETGEAR, Kohler’s Robern brand of premium vanities featuring tuneable LED lighting and full integration with Ring’s new X Line.

Ring’s founder and chief inventor Jamie Siminoff spoke to attendees at the Savant Summit, highlighting the first such relationship in the CI channel. The partnership, alongside the release of Ring’s X line hopes to deliver a unique experience to customers.

Savant will now deliver the Ring Doorbell experience within its smart home ecosystem and integrators can expect to see Ring features such as a live view of Ring video, notifications and two-way audio later in 2020.

With its NETGEAR partnership, Savant can now offer the full suite of networking solutions to integrators.

The objective of the alliance is to create networking solutions that are optomised for the Savant home ecosystem. This now allows Savant to streamline design, installation and service processes for integration professionals. Through this partnership, integrators will gain access to 24/7 system design and support services, increasing jobsite efficiency while ensuring client satisfaction.

Savant showcased an expansion of the Smart Audio product family with the AVB and WiSA-enabled products. This includes a new three-channel amplifier with onboard Savant control capability, the new high-performance free-standing bookshelf speaker designed by Cary Christie with capacitive touch controls on the top surface and an AVB to WiSA Bridge which creates limitless connectivity options for integrators.

Also announced is the acquisition of NOON Home, exciting residential lighting control innovations that create new opportunities for integrators. This acquisition will enable Racepoint Energy and sister-company Savant to deliver the NOON’s complete lighting control platform that can be discovered and controlled with a single app experience.
