The DTP2 CrossPoint 82 is an 8×2 presentation matrix switcher that provides state-of-the-art video scaling, switching and integration features for the professional AV integrator, all in one box.

This latest matrix switcher delivers excellent image quality, fast and reliable switching as well as Extron ProDSP audio processing. When it comes to video effects, the DTP2 CrossPoint 82 has seamless transitions, logo keying and HDMI loop-through.

With a maximum data rate of 18Gbps, it supports video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 chroma sampling and is HDCP 2.2 compliant.

It also incorporates Extron-patented Vector 4K scaling technology as well as a DTP2, DisplayPort, HDMI inputs and one DTP2 output for extending video, audio and control signals up to 100m over a shielded CATx cable.

“The DTP2 CrossPoint 82 delivers the highest level of performance and capability in the industry for this category,” Extron vice president of worldwide sales and marketing Casey Hall says.

“The combination of market leading video and audio processing technologies, plus its secure control capabilities, gives designers and integrators a versatile solution that can be applied to a wide range of designs.”

It delivers all the core functionality of a conventional AV system, in a single enclosure that replaces as many as ten separate components. This compact design makes it easy to standardise on a common system setup throughout a facility and can work across many environments.
