The shortlists for two awards that will be presented at the CEDIA Awards in London have been announced.

The awards will honour the hardware and software products from across the EMEA region.

The shortlist for Best New Hardware Product is: 2N – video answering unit; ABB – ABB tacteo KNX Sensor; Barco – Barco residential Bragi projector; Cinema Build Systems – Cinema Space Frame System; ELAN – ELAN facial recognition touchscreens; Hero Labs – Sonic; Impact Lighting – Epix Fusion; Samsung – Samsung The Wall Lux; Savant – Savant Breaker-Companion modules; Wisdon Audio – Wisdom Audio Insight On-Wall Series speakers P4m.

The shortlist for the Best New Software Product features Control4’s Smart Home OS3 and OvrC’s Cloud Monitoring and Management.

All shortlisted entries will go forward to a final round of face-to-face judging with the winners announced at the black-tie awards ceremony at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London on 26 September.
