US door hardware manufacturer Kwikset has launched its new SmartCode 955, a commercial grade electronic level with advanced security, strength and durability.

It is the first commercial grade electronic lever from Kwikset, which is a brand of Spectrum Brands Inc’s hardware and home improvement division. In business since 1946, Kwikset initially focused on making homeowners feel safe; it is now bringing that same commitment to commercial and residential property owners, facility managers and small business owners.

Kwikset’s new SmartCode 955 holds up to 30 unique user codes for seamless access control. It is intended for use on a wide variety of doors, including office doors, utility rooms, storage closets, vacation properties and more. It protects against break-in methods such as lock picking, lock bumping and torque attacks.

Security can be reset by re-keying the locks thus rendering lost, loaned or unreturned keys useless.
