The newly updated UAT 1.2 Universal AudioCast Transmitter lets users/clients listen to and control their personal PC/Mac, MP3 and iPhone music libraries from anywhere in the house.

In essence, the UAT 1.2 turns any computer into a wireless music server with an easy USB connection. And it is iPhone/iTouch/iPad remote application ready.

The wireless transmitter control features include the basic functions of track forward, track back, pause/play for commonly used media players, including iTunes, RealPlayer, MusicMatch, Windows and internet radio stations by means of the USB connection to the PC or Mac.

The UAT 1.2 is a flexible and powerful system also capable of transmitting signals to any rear surround speakers for home theatre without wires. Now, every television in the house can be easily and affordably outfitted for wireless surround sound.

The SubCast audio transmitter system lets you make any subwoofer or full-range speaker system wireless. The transmitter sends an analogue stereo or digital wireless signal between the AV system or source and an amplified product (subwoofer or speakers) placed anywhere in the room, house or outdoors for high-performance music without wires.

The plug-and-play UAT 1.2 and SubCast systems are robust, yet their small, unobtrusive enclosures—only 6 inches tall—transmit a long-range, interference-free, 2.4GHz signal 50-to-350 feet through walls, floors, doors, ceilings and even outdoors.

“There is opportunity in every job for a wireless music product that would enhance and heighten the clients’ user experience and satisfaction,” says Soundcast Systems president Mal Hollombe.

“A simple question asking the client how they’d like to listen to and enjoy their personal PC, iTunes or iPhone music libraries anywhere in the house or outside? It is quite simple and affordable with a Soundcast wireless transmitter/receiver system. That offer alone should get a few ‘awes’ and nods of approval.”

For a personal demonstration, visit the Soundcast Systems booth #3825 at CEDIA US Expo 2011.
