Zyxel Networks has introduced its first industrial-grade wireless access point, the BE5000 4-Stream WiFi 7 Dual-Radio NebulaFlex Pro Industrial Access Point (IAP500BE), designed for challenging indoor environments such as warehouses, manufacturing facilities and maintenance workshops.

The IAP500BE combines rugged durability, extended coverage and ultra-fast WiFi 7 performance to help accelerate industrial digital transformation.

Powered by WiFi 7 BE5000 technology, the IAP500BE delivers multi-gigabit speeds with ultra-low latency for device-dense environments that rely on connected sensors, control systems and autonomous vehicles.

Zyxel’s industry-first Smart Mesh MLO combines multi-link operation with mesh networking to boost throughput by up to 40% while improving range and stability. The device’s RF-First design and advanced antenna isolation also minimise interference for a cleaner, stronger signal.

Engineered for reliability, the IAP500BE features a metal housing and fanless design that protects against dust, oil and impacts, along with temperature tolerance from -25°C to 65°C. It includes dual power inputs and built-in safeguards against lightning, ESD and wiring errors to maintain operation even during power interruptions.

With versatile mounting options for walls, DIN-rails or enclosures, the IAP500BE adapts easily to different industrial settings. It supports standalone, on-premises and Nebula Cloud management modes, with each unit including a one-year Nebula Pro Pack license for advanced cloud management features.

“Many organisations in the industrial sector remain trapped behind lagging WiFi standards,” Zyxel Networks ANZ regional head Gary Chen says.

“With the IAP500BE, we’re breaking new ground with our first industrial lineup, combining WiFi 7 performance, rugged reliability and flexible management to simplify and accelerate industrial digital transformation.”
