Zeppelin Wireless
Bowers & Wilkins released the original Zeppelin eight years ago and has now announced the release of Zeppelin Wireless. Every element of the speaker has been redesigned to deliver superlative audio performance.
Key among the changes are the five completely new drive units. Zeppelin Wireless features two Double Dome tweeters as found in Bowers & Wilkins CM Series of Hi-Fi speakers, while the two midrange drivers benefit from FST technology. This unique approach to drive unit design is also found in Bowers & Wilkins flagship 800 Series Diamond, and helps Zeppelin Wireless deliver pristine, life-like vocals and instruments.

A new, larger 6.5” subwoofer with ultra-long voice coil allows deep bass to be played at impressive volume. The new, reinforced cabinet has also been redesigned to reduce vibrations in order to provide a solid platform from which the drive units can work. Along with a front fascia 50% thicker than the previous version, specially designed glass fibre ribs strengthen the cabinet in all the right places. The result: pristine sound from the high- quality drive units.
Thanks to Digital Signal Processing (DSP) twice as powerful as its predecessor, Zeppelin Wireless creates a more detailed and refined sound. The improvement in audio performance is complemented by a trio of connectivity options in the form of AirPlay, Bluetooth aptX and Spotify Connect -2 . The Bowers & Wilkins Control App has also been updated and is available via iOS, Android, Mac and PC, so now it’s easier and more convenient to control volume and playback functions.
CEO of Convoy, B&W’s Australian distributor, Geoff Matthews says “The iconic Zeppelin gets its most comprehensive makeover yet, turning it into a more accomplished, flexible and compelling wireless audio solution. The king of docking speakers makes way for the king of wireless speakers.”
