Zenitel integrates data-centric security technologies and a multi-layered security approach that combines encryption, authentication and authorisation to protect touchpoints within the Zenitel Vipedia system.
Multifactor authentication (MFA), with time-based one-time password (OTP) used in the Zenitel Vipedia system is to add an extra later of security and to reduce the risk of unauthorised access and potential security breaches. All interfaces work on the principle of “never trust, always verify”, regardless of whether a user or system is inside or outside the network.
Zenitel chief technology officer Thomas Hægh says that cyber threats are continuing to evolve and are requiring organisations to be adept at managing this shifting threat landscape.
“Our mission has always been to empower people and businesses to communicate clearly and securely, without the burden of managing technological complexity so cybersecurity is deeply embedded in our corporate strategy,” he says.
“The release of the latest Zenitel Vipedia software suite is a testament to our ongoing commitment to delivering cybersecure critical communication solutions. With compliance to IEC 62443-4-2, Zenitel Vipedia PAVA solution represents the highest recognition of cyber security resilience, enabling our partners to build a fully cyber secure public address and voice alarm system.”
