ZeeVee, which is distributed in Australia by AV Distributors, has announced that it has been named an official InfoComm International Renewal Unit (RU) Provider.

This means more than 9,000 professionals who hold InfoComm International’s Certified Technology Specialist credentials will be able to earn RUs towards their certification by completing certain ZeeVee education programs.

The ZyPer AV over IP Training program can be completed for 2.5 RUs. This program is designed to help educate system integrators and AV installers on the new technologies available to enable IP-based media distribution solutions. The basics of IP as an introductory phase are covered, as well as topics such as the 7-Layer OSI reference model, IP addressing and switching technologies. Hands on training with the ZyPer4K system is also provided and attendees physically interact with the equipment to install, configure and deploy a fully functional IP video distribution system.
