ZeeVee has announced it will be releasing three new products at booth C3980 at InfoComm 2018, where attendees will also be able to meet with the company’s chief executive Bob Michaels and his team.

ZeeVee will continue to expand its line of AV over IP components with the introduction of the ZyPerMX4 four-channel IP encoder that distributes up to four HD sources over IP networks employing 1GB or faster switches.

The ZyPerMX4 encodes and distributes HD video content up to 1080p @ 60Hz and supports both multicast and unicast UDP and RTP encoding. It enables integrators and end-users to communicate directly with the encoder using the built-in web server, which provides full access to configuration parameters, control and other features. Once connected to the network, the IP settings on the encoder can be configured automatically by a DHCP server or can be entered manually in static mode.

Also on display will be ZeeVee’s new ZvMXE+ high-performance set top box that decodes both RF and IP HD content.

The ZvMXE+ provides a bridge to customers for the process of upgrading from RF distribution to AV over IP, supporting three compression formats, including H.264, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4. This enables instant viewing of channels once it is plugged into the display and connected to a network.

“The ZvMXE+ boasts intuitive convenience and makes AV over IP deployments as easy as those for RF. It’s a formidable media experience engine for integrators and end-users that features our proprietary architecture, allowing capabilities to be easily expanded over time as system requirements change,” says Steve.

The device auto-discovers IP feeds generated from ZeeVee’s ZyPerMX, ZyPerMX4, HDbridge3000 H.264 and MPEG2 blades, as well as the iSeries models of ZeeVee’s popular RF products, automatically creating a lineup of available content. Additional channels and streams can be added manually.

Finally, ZeeVee will be showcasing its third-generating ZyPer4K products at InfoComm 2018.

The ZyPer4K SDVoE encoder and decoder has thousands of end-points deployed globally, delivering uncompressed 4K content with sub-1ms latency to an unlimited number of displays directly through off-the-shelf 10G Ethernet switches.

Using industry standard CAT 6a cables or fibre, the ZyPer4K can send AV from HDMI (with full HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 capability), SDI, DisplayPort and analogue sources over standard 10Gb Ethernet switches to virtually any number of displays that can be up to 100m away from the switch.

In addition to its 10Gb Ethernet connection, each ZyPer4K encoder and decoder unit has a 1Gb network port that can be used for any IP network device, including digital signage media players, IP cameras, video/audio conferencing equipment and even WiFi network equipment, without extra cabling.

The ZyPer4K also provides the option to extend USB, IR and RS-232 connections over the network for the use and control of connected devices such as displays, keyboards/mice, and cameras.

The ZeeVee team will be running live demonstrations of its SDVoE AV distribution products during the InfoComm show hours at booth C3980. All demonstrations will be delivered over Ethernet switches from NETGEAR, including its 96, 48, 12 and 8 port AV over IP ready 10gb switches.
