Yamaha has announced the YVC-1000MS – a USB speakerphone solution that is engineered to include Yamaha’s audio technology and improve the Skype for Business experience.

The new microphone and speaker system has passed all the Skype for Business Certification Version 3 tests and has met the high standards required for it to meet the natural and clear audio expected.

The YVC-1000MS has also been designed to meet the requirements of large meeting rooms, rooms with special furniture configurations and even remote education classes or seminars that use the Skype for Business application. It features a separated microphone and speaker for smooth audio for comfortable remote communication.

Even if the meeting is stressful, the conversation won’t be because the adaptive echo cancellation and other sound processing technologies mean the sound is crisp and clear straight into the user’s ears. The entire connection process is also entirely user friendly and fuss free.

“Skype for Business continues to be the platform of choice for collaboration,” says Yamaha executive officer and senior general manager of audio business division Hirofumi Osawa.

“We are focused on delivering communication technologies that are specifically tuned to make human voices sound clear and natural in every conversation. We do this by leveraging Yamaha’s well-known expertise in developing pro audio solutions and our 10-year experience working with global enterprise customers and partners within the UC industry. With the introduction of the Yamaha YVC-1000MS, users will optimise Skype for Business meetings that take place in large spaces.”

Skype for Business senior director of product marketing Tiffany Wissner says the entire partnership is about adding some fluidity to the experience customers have between the two.

“Yamaha has a long-standing reputation as a proven audio technology expert. Together, we’re simplifying the meeting experience while delivering quality audio that’s vital to effective conversations,” Tiffany says.

“The YVC-1000MS speakerphone was chosen for its ability to meet the requirements for large meeting room applications and fulfil the high-quality audio demands of our users.”
