This year Yamaha has a stand solely dedicated to their latest innovation – MusicCast. This new technology features across multiple categories including wireless speakers, AV receivers, sound bars and hi-fi components to name a few.

Announced recently in a global launch on 20th August (Australia), Yamaha’s multi-room system presents users with a seamless ecosystem of products, and a swift and simple approach towards high-quality music sharing within the home. Whether listening to music streaming services such as Pandora or Spotify, TV programs, CDs or even vinyl records, the app-controlled technology enables sharing of any audio source to any room.

Multi-room audio systems have been gaining popularity in recent years among manufacturers; however, Yamaha’s MusicCast brings a unique offering to the table. Users can enjoy virtually any type of audio from any source connected via HDMI, digital, USB, network or analogue connection, including hi-res files such as Apple Lossless and FLAC. This versatility extends to an unprecedented range of MusicCast-enabled products on offer, with 30 models set for release in Australia before Christmas. Additionally, Airplay and Bluetooth is featured on all MusicCast products allowing users to send music to any existing Bluetooth speaker, regardless of the brand.

IFA 2015 will take place in Berlin from the 4th to 9th of September featuring the very latest from giants of the electronics industry.
