Yamaha introduces the new Aventage range
Yamaha’s engineers have taken a different tact with this new product range, approaching the design from a granular
level. This involved a thorough review of all design aspects including circuitry, construction, components, volume and sound reproduction qualities and even eco-friendly considerations for power consumption.
Ensuring the ultimate in audio and video performance, premium parts and components are used throughout the range.
Unique to the Aventage receivers is a 5th leg placed underneath the heavy power transformer. The additional
stability from this 5th leg ensures minimal vibration reducing any colouration to the sound. In addition, Burr-Brown
DACs, the latest HQV Vida video processing chips, high quality speaker terminals and a myriad of quality minor
components improve audio and video performance. With RS-232 on all models and collaboration with 3rd party control companies such as Control 4 and Creston, integrating an Aventage receiver into a custom
installation is seamless.

Australia’s entry model of the Aventage range, the RX-A1000 combines the premium performance inherent in the
range at an affordable price point. With a plethora of entertainment sources available today, connectivity is paramount.
An Ethernet port with DLNA V1.5 certification provides access to internet radio and PC music streaming including
support for FLAC 96/24 for uncompressed audio from NAS storage devices. The Ethernet port also allows control via
a web browser on devices such as an iPad or iPhone, while the new GUI makes operation extremely intuitive.
Feature rich, the RX-A1000 outputs 105W over each of the seven channels with 0.06% THD and can run dual
subwoofers. It has eight HDMI inputs (3D and ARC compatible) with dual simultaneous outputs allowing the use of
multiple HD monitors at the same time. With a USB input and the ability of running independent audio and video into
two zones, including the option for zone mono, further versatility is added to this already accomplished receiver.
Combining HD audio support, Yamaha’s proprietary 3D DSP mode for added height and depth to the front sound
stage and iPod connectivity through the included YDS-12 or optional YD-W10 AirWired dock, the RX-A1000
transforms home theatre into home entertainment.
The RX-A2000 adds a variety of features to the RX-A1000 including 130w x 7 (8, 20Hz – 20kHz, 0.06% THD)
delivering performance to satisfy all but the absolute audio enthusiast. Using an external amplifier, the RX-A2000 can be configured to deliver 9.2ch surround sound, making use of front presence speakers to further enhance the 3D DSP mode for a heightened home theatre experience. YPAO calibration extends beyond the RX-A1000 incorporating new settings including room echo control and reflection control, while the second and third zone operation (including component video with GUI for either zone with album artwork support from iPod or iPhone) enable flexible listening configurations and multi-room audio and video enjoyment. The HQV Vida video processor provides advanced scaling and de-interlacing including noise reduction and resolution enhancement for SD sources such as DVD to deliver premium video performance.
Impressive power combined with exhaustive engineering efforts position the RX-A2000 as one of the finest AV
receivers available on the Australian market.
With the capability of expanding the receiver to 11.2 channels using secondary amplifiers and front and rear presence speakers, the RX-A3000 will deliver surround sound experience equalled only by Yamaha’s previous flagship receiver, the RX-Z11. Such a configuration delivers another dimension to surround sound with added height and depth to the overall soundstage.
The double layer base construction provides further strength in the body reducing vibration and colouration of sound,
while the YPAO calibration also includes speaker angle measurement and reflected sound control to ensure audio quality. These features combined with HQV Vida video processing which allows even further calibration of the video output, Zone 4 operation and almost limitless connectivity, present the RX-A3000 as the epitome of Yamaha’s engineering prowess.
Supporting the premium positioning and the superior build quality of the Aventage receiver range, each receiver
comes with a 4-year manufacturers’ warranty including a 1-year replacement warranty.
Each Aventage receiver comes with a YDS-12 iPod/iPhone dock included in the price.
The perfect companion to Yamaha’s Aventage receivers, the BD-A1000 Blu-Ray Player completes the puzzle.
With 3D support, DivX Plus HD, USB and DLNA compatibility, the BD-A1000 is the ideal BD-Live Blu-Ray player for any Aventage receiver purchase.
Available from November. The BD-A1000 comes with a 2-year warranty.
