The presence channels deliver exceptional performance through the use of a high-end ESS ES9006 SABRE Premier Audio DAC.

The RX-A2040 utilises 2 ES9006 SABRE Premier Audio DACs from ESS Technology to provide accurate and faithful reproduction of high-definition audio sources including Blu-ray players. Playback of 192 kHz/24-bit FLAC or WAV and 96 kHz Apple Lossless is supported, satisfying the current surge in demand for high-resolution audio.

Both the RX-A2040 and RX-A3040 employ the latest in wireless technology to ensure effortless network connection. Built-in Wi-Fi provides seamless access to music streaming services such as Pandora and Spotify Connect, vTuner Internet radio, DLNA music streaming and Yamaha’s acclaimed AV Controller app for iOS and Android devices. Alternatively, Wireless Direct facilitates a wireless connection between the Receiver and wireless
devices, enabling features like AirPlay or app control without a home Wi-Fi network.

Included with each Receiver, the YBA-11 Bluetooth adaptor enhances seamless operation with wireless audio streaming from a variety of Bluetooth-enabled devices including phones, tablets and laptops.
