Amongst the complement of updated features, a new Surround:AI mode (CX-A5200) features continuous analysis and optimisation of surround effects in real time.
“For close to a decade, AVENTAGE has represented the pinnacle in home entertainment,” Yamaha Music Australia product manager Damien Henderson says.
“This legacy is now reaffirmed with our latest breakthrough technology, Surround:AI, as we continue to push the limits of home cinema.”
Developed by Yamaha, Surround:AI optimises the surround sound effect in real-time to best suit the scene of a movie. Rather than selecting pre-set sound modes, Surround:AI focuses on elements such as dynamic range, dialogue, sound effects, background music and channel balance to dynamically deliver the best sound field at any moment during the movie.
In addition, the CX-A5200 features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X surround sound decoding with up to 7.2.4-channel processing.
