Compact and portable, the TT-KIT-4K comprises of a 4K timing signal generator and a 4K source signal analyser, supporting 4,096×2,160p @ 60Hz 4:2:0, including RGB 4:4:4, YUV 4:2:2, YUV 4:2:0 and 48-bit Deep Colour with extensive functionality to test a wide range of HDMI signal properties and compatibilities that help identify potential device or cable issues and ensure the projects are completed fast and painlessly.
Offering 34 separate signal patterns and 32 presets, 10 user definable and an auto-detection setting for timing signals, the timing signal generator replicates a huge range of signal configurations including refresh rates, scan types, polarity, colour, gradient, motion, 3D and signals containing HDCP 1.4 encryption and up to 8 channels of audio.
The source signal analyser boasts a crystal clear 2” OLED screen on which to display incoming signal metadata, source video transmissions and to confirm correct image render. An EDID emulator replicates 4 fixed and 10 user-saved source or display EDID settings, but it’s the Signal Monitor Mode that is really useful, enabling the unit to operate unmanned on-site over an extended period of time for unrivalled detail of information.
The device also has a signal monitor mode allowing the unit to operate unmanned on-site to analyse signal stability over a period of extended time to identify any issues on-site that may be affecting distribution within a system for an invaluable time and cost-saving method of troubleshooting systems.
In terms of EDID, the signal analyser can mimic any screen or projector by storing its EDID for the integrator to recall anywhere to test an installation without needing to have any screens on site.
Powered by rechargeable lithium batteries for hours of on-site use per charge and enclosed in a rugged carrying case, the TT-KIT-4K offers complete examination and diagnosis of transmissions from any source or display to ensure even more efficient installations – a must have for all professional integrators.
