Based in Ponsonby, Automation Associates’ core business is custom design and installation of high-end residential, commercial and marine automation systems.

Technical Sales Consultant

Love designing, selling and installing clever electronic systems for people who appreciate what you do? We are hunting for a successful sales person with strong technical ability to join HabitatAV, a middle market custom install business, selling, and from time to time installing, home entertainment and control systems.

Most likely you’ll already be working in custom install, selling theatre, multrioom audio and smart wiring. You’re may be on the tools all day, and the books into the night, juggling workload, cashflow and staff issues. Maybe you’ve had enough of running your own custom install company, or maybe you’ve been someone’s right-hand-man and now it’s time to spread your wings to a more autonomous role.

Business Development Manager

Permanent, Full time

TechStyle distributes a variety of home automation products to custom installers and electricians in the NZ market.

As the Business Development Manager you will be responsible for meeting sales targets and proactively identifying opportunities to grow business, while providing excellent service.

Key functions of this role are sales, new business development and account management, including assistance with client’s system design. To be successful in this role you must have skills with electronic equipment such as audio visual, home automation, security, lighting and displays, and must be able to communicate with clients on a technical level. Much of your time will be spent contacting new and existing clients and introducing and demonstrating our products.

This role may suit someone from a technology distribution background.

Some national travel is required, and therefore you must hold a full, clean drivers licence.
