WiiM, distributed by Audacity Australia, has introduced the Sound Lite, a smart speaker that’s designed to deliver studio-grade sound, effortless casting and broad ecosystem compatibility.

The speaker can be used on its own, paired for true left/right stereo or integrated into a multi-room or home theatre setup with products such as WiiM Sound, WiiM Amps, WiiM Streamers and the WiiM Sub Pro.

Sound Lite runs on the WiiM Home App, which provides whole-home control, advanced EQ, RoomFit room correction, multi-room grouping, smart presets and universal search. Users can stream through more than 20 major services or cast directly from their preferred apps using standards such as Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Alexa Cast, DLNA and Roon.

“With WiiM Sound Lite, we’re extending that vision with a minimalist yet powerful speaker that fits effortlessly into any room while delivering the high-quality, flexible audio performance our community expects,” WiiM chief executive Dr Lifeng Zhao says.

Sound Lite is engineered for rich, detailed sound with Hi-Res 24-bit/192 kHz playback and 100W peak output from a custom 4” long-throw woofer and dual 1” silk-dome tweeters. Connectivity includes WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and Ethernet for reliable, high-bandwidth streaming, while RoomFit room correction automatically adjusts the speaker’s output to suit the acoustics of any space.

The speaker supports stereo pairing, works as a surround or centre channel in a compatible WiiM Dolby 5.1 setup and integrates seamlessly into multi-room systems for synchronised audio around the home. Through the WiiM Home App, users can manage playback, presets, EQ, alarms, groups and updates from a single interface.

Sound Life supports streaming platforms and casting technologies and is compatible with Google Cast, Alexa multi-room and Roon Ready certification. Its clean, display-free design blends into shelves, counters and living spaces to enjoy high-fidelity audio anywhere.
