After many years building a name for itself as the leading designer of acoustic systems in Australia, 2016 has very much been a year of growth for Wavetrain.

Since the start of the year, the company has picked up local distribution rights for Artnovion acoustic treatments, FireFX media systems as well as a broad selection of software solutions including Springdeck and ProjX360.

Now the company is adding the highly regarded Meridian name to its ever-growing stable of products.

Launching at Integrate with the DSP8000SE digital active loudspeaker, before too long the company will carry Meridian’s full range of products and services.

“We believe that the Wavetrain ethos of assisting dealers with engineering support makes us the perfect fit for Meridian. With world leading DSP technologies, Sooloos and MQA technologies plus lots of exciting things to come, we believe Meridian should again come to dominate the Australian market,” Wavetrain director David Moseley says.

Meridian was previously represented in Australia by Amber Technology.

Wavetrain will display a pair of Meridian’s DSP8000SE loudspeakers at the Integrate Expo, which takes place 23-25 August in Sydney.
