Portuguese acoustics brand, Vicoustic has released the VicSpacer, a new fixation system designed to upgrade its flagship product, the Flat Panel VMT.

Specially designed to improve the acoustics of any room, VicSpacer helps to enhance the Flat Panel VMT performance in the medium and low-frequency regions by spacing the panel 40mm away from the walls and ceiling.

The new fixation system used by VicSpacer creates compatibility between the Flat Panel VMT and the VicFix fixation system already in use on other Vicoustic’s solutions. In addition to ceiling installation using a VicFix J Profile 2m available, the VicSpacer can also be used as a Bass Trap, by placing it in the corners of a room with the VicFix Corner and VicFix 80mm.

Built from wood and lacquered steel, the newest release is available in white, black and grey matte and was designed to cover the white sides of Flat Panel VMT in an elegant and unique way.

VicSpacer Plus is an extra version of this new solution that includes eight extra PET panels, to further improve the performance of the Flat Panel VMT.

Both VicSpacer and VicSpacer Plus will need to be combined with Flat Panel VMT of 20mm thickness, and are compatible with all sizes of the panel, from 595×595 to 1190×595, including the XXL 2380×1190.
