URC launches new MXHP-R700 remote for MX HomePro

URC launches new MXHP-R700 remote for MX HomeProURC, which is distributed by Advance Audio, has announced the launch of its MXHP-R700 handheld remote for MX HomePro.

The MXHP-R700 features a 2” LCD with custom onscreen menus, ergonomic design, backlit keypad, intuitive layout and finger grooves. The programmable, WiFi handheld remote even displays live video from compatible surveillance cameras when used with the URC Z-Wave gateway.

It also has a lithium-ion rechargeable battery, charging cradle and onscreen battery indicator, and retains its battery charge for three to four days of normal use after a full charge.

“URC integrators and consumers wanted a more fully-featured remote control to elevate the MX HomePro user experience. Delivering on our commitment to providing best-in-class products that are backed by industry-leading support, the R700 incorporates a backlit hard button keypad and tabletop charging cradle, plus many other premium features,” says URC vice president of product development Lars Granoe.

URC has also announced it has expanded the cloud-based MX HomePro system control to eight zones. The system, which is professionally, designed, installed and serviced, delivers whole-house entertainment and smart home control, including integration with thousands of available Z-Wave devices. MX HomePro integrates with Amazon Alexa, Bose, Heos, Honeywell, Lutron, Nest, Philips Hue, Roku, Sonos and more.

Additionally, URC has introduced a new Sonos certified two-way module that allows for simple and reliable control as part of a fully-integrated MX HomePro system. It features volume control, grouping of Sonos platers, access to Sonos favourites and advanced automation.
