TrueSync Media has partnered with Custom Channels, adding the licensed music streaming solution to its range of products.

Now integrated into the company’s TrueSyncTV digital signage platform, it’s a free-to-use entertainment network for businesses.

Prior to this, many of TrueSync’s clients faced a dilemma familiar across the signage and AV integration industry: how to legally and effectively pair high-quality background music with custom visual content. Many venues either forwent music altogether or relied on customer platforms not licensed for public performance.

TrueSync Media chief revenue officer Jeff Busch says Custom Channels Pro has changed the game.

“By adding licensed music to our video content offering, we’re creating a richer and more complete experience for venues and their guests,” he says.

Custom Channels Pro provides TrueSync clients a plug-and-play solution, meaning no extra hardware or apps are required. Only a single stream URL is needed to integrate into existing signage workflows easily.

“Before Custom Channels Pro, providers had to stitch together clunky, piecemeal solutions or avoid music altogether,” Custom Channels head of partnerships Max Willet says.

“TrueSync saw that gap and moved quickly to offer their customers something better: a bundled, brand-safe and immersive experience that includes both licensed music and video.”
