Tivoli Audio and Interdyn have jointly announced that brand management of Tivoli Audio’s products will be handled by industry veteran Gary Tye.

Gary is well known in the Australian hi-fi distribution scene, having previously held senior roles with Interdyn, Convoy and Harvey Norman.

“I’m thrilled to take on responsibility for representing the wonderful brand of Tivoli in Australia. Its iconic designs are in thousands upon thousands of homes across the country and, with the release of the new Art line of network speakers, this is an exciting time in the brand’s history to further build on its success. I’m looking forward to becoming the new go-to for Tivoli in Australia,” said Gary.

“Having Gary Tye on board to look after our sales and marketing in Australia will allow us to search for new channels and build on existing ones. We have worked well with Interdyn for several years, and I am pleased that we will continue our relationship through the logistics and service side of Tivoli’s Australian operations” said Tivoli Audio vice president of sales Silvio Pupino.

Interdyn directors Sam Encel and Evgeny Vizelman noted that the new distribution arrangements align with their company’s strategy.

“We have embarked on a steady process of deliberately reducing the size of our brand portfolio. This has enabled us to increase focus and maximise growth opportunities for our core brands, while continuing to build on the services to dealers which Interdyn has come to be known for. These services include ultra-fast delivery, an online portal for live stock status and ordering, multiple distribution centres, and the fastest premium AV repair turnaround times in Australia.”

“We have great admiration for Tivoli’s products, but the brand did not fit in with our renewed focus on component audiovisual products. With this new arrangement, we are able to deploy our logistical and support excellence in backing up the operations of Tivoli into the future, while the brand will have its own sales representation in Australia which is able to focus purely on its needs,” they said.

Any new orders for Tivoli Audio products should be directed to Gary Tye. While after-sales support, freight and logistics will continue to be handled by Interdyn, please also direct any queries around these areas to Gary at [email protected] or on 0406 644 183.
